HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween was SO awesome! That day was fabulous! Laney and Kyle went to school that morning and Kevin and I started fixing up the yard with our decorations for the night, the lights, the giant grim reaper yard decoration, the tombstones, torches, window zombies, hanging ghosts, etc. so much stuff! i had a blast.
Then I spent that afternoon getting myself ready for it, my makeup and hair and then the kiddos too. We all got dressed up in our costumes and out we headed into the crowded neighborhood full of Buzz Lightyears, Cinderellas, Spidermen, and My Little Ponies.

Of course there were also other pirates, witches, creepy zombies and serial horror flick killers such as Freddie and Jason, and even the occasional dressed up pet dogs...(one a cowboy, one a hotdog, and one a fairy). TONS of kids running around, screaming, laughing, and running from house to house. We had tons of fun walking from house to house and getting Candy. Then we made the long walk back home and passed out our own candy! I cannot WAIT for next year! I love this holiday SO MUCH!!! Next year we're going to be doing the Wizard of Oz theme!! :P I will be Glinda the Good Witch, Laney will be Dorothy of course, Hayden will be the Cowardly Lion, Kyle will be the Scarecrow and Kevin will be either a munchkin or the Tin Man. haha. I might even get a couple of our calmer dogs in on the action, I think perhaps my new puppies can be characters too.

I would die for a flying monkey costume for dogs! but i haven't found one yet. and of course Lucas (my yorkie) can go as Toto. But we'll see! I also plan to add some moving pieces to our yard decor. Maybe a moving witch or a flying witch or something. I have to do something about the side of the house though. we live right next to this field and have on the other side of our grass a gravel area that separates our yard from the field, and people want to walk UP it thinking it goes to the porch that we are sitting on instead of walking up the driveway.

or they walk through my yard (which i hate!)....so i will work out some sort of fencing or taping off, and then lights up the driveway and to my porch walkway to where we are sitting. We'll get it worked out. haha. i might even have signs that say- Candy....THIS WAY ------>. haha. We'll figure it out. Here's to another GREAT Halloween!!!

Baby Shower!!

My sister's baby shower was in October, and we had a great time! She got tons of things for the baby, and we had a nice cake, and the kiddos there played all over the place. This is how my family is...very "family friendly". i know of a lot of showers (some I've been to) where kids and spouses are not invited, it's just "the girls"...i find that ODD! I guess it's weird to me because my family always uses any celebration as an excuse to get together and have fun! :P
Me, My BIL Jeff, My sis Callie, and My Grandmother
So everyone was welcomed to this shower! Mine were like that too. I was assigned the task of writing every gift down in her baby book. Boy there was a ton of stuff, and my poor hand was so tired after it was all said and done. LOL. There was tons of pink of course, and then a few of Jeff's friends (Jeff is my brother-in-law) thought it would be funny to give Jeff and Callie (Callie is my sister) a few "just in case" gifts...ya know just in case the baby turns out to be a boy instead. LOL it was hilarious. They had so many
gifts that we had to load up their car and others to get it all back to their house. I really enjoyed seeing my sissy. The last time she was pregnant i lived in Oklahoma and never got to see her during her pregnancy, i hated that. My sissy has been having some pretty strong braxton-hicks contractions over the last 2 weeks now. Just last night she texted me saying that she was having good contractions every 10mins or so....but they eventually went away. I think she's getting close!! She's due on Nov 21st. (the day after my bff's bday too!) but i think she might go into full blown labor next week/weekend!!!! I cannot wait to see my new little niece! I'm so excited, and I'm hoping for another little redhead! :) We need another little redheaded girl in the family. haha.

PUPPIES!!!!!

I am so freakin' excited!! Shaggy finally caved and I'm getting two new puppies! An AKC Yorkie and an AKC Pomeranian. My best friend Nicole breeds both breeds in her home. She has the CUTEST puppies ever! You can see her past puppies on www.sweetpeapups.com . I am getting a male Yorkie and a female Pom. My yorkie's name will be Lucas and I've finally decided on a female name, Zoe (thank you to Grace from Y!A for suggestion!). Lucas has been born. I just don't know which one he will be yet. Nicole's Yorkie mama Kylee had 4 boys, and I've not picked which one I want yet. There are two people in line to pick before me. I do have one in mind, he's called Drake right now...so I'm hoping he doesn't get picked. The pom puppies are due any day this week, and I cannot wait! Since Nicole lives right next door to me, I was able to be there for the birth! So exciting! I'll be there for the birth of the poms too, and I cannot wait for Madison (the Pom mama) to have her babies! I'm FIRST on the list to pick from Madison's puppies and I'm super excited about that! I just hope she has some girls! :D I was suppose to get a girl Yorkie, but Kylee had all boys, so plan B! lol. I just can't wait!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!

I love Halloween!!! LOVE IT!! *love*. This year we've all gotten our costumes! we are going to be a pirate family! Of course Kyle will be a 'skeleton pirate'. If it's not gross, bloody, or half dead looking...he's not doing it. Laney and Hayden's costumes came in last week and they look SO freaking cute!!!!!! :P I can't wait for Halloween!

Hayden Turns 4.

I've been totally out of it. I want to blog every day but either just dont feel up to it, or dont have the time, or just dont know what the heck to blog about!! Anyways...I missed an easy post, but I'm getting it up now and that's all that matters. Hayden turned 4 in late September. We had cake (homemade of course) and presents and decorations and more. :P He wanted a Spiderman party so that's what he got! He got lots of Spiderman toys, and new PJs from his GiGi (great-grandmother), and clothes from his Nana, and a scooter from Mommy and Daddy, and money from his Grandpa (my FIL) and lots more stuff from friends and family. He had fun, and looked so darn cute! I just love his facial expressions. :P He blew his own candles out this year....he's been scared to in past years (or just too young). Great great day!! I'm so glad my Lil'Chunkers had a great bday!

Yeah, that about sums it up.

I'm aaaaaddddicted ADDICTED!!! **screams**

Yeah, I'm totally addicted. To what you might ask? To Evanescence. :P Honestly they rock my socks dude. I've been jamming out to them all damn day. Cannot get enough. My vocal cords are ruined btw...because YES I DO sing my little tail off to my favorite songs in the privacy of my own home like a weirdo. It's cool...I don't sound horrid, but I ain't no Celine Dion either.
Anyhoo....ON WITH THE SO-SO SINGING!!!
